We have already got used to working in Office 365, we got to know its possibilities … and it’s time to change! Do you know what is the difference between Microsoft 365 and Office 365?
Let’s start with a reminder of what Microsoft offered us as part of Office 365. It is primarily a package of tools necessary for office work – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, or Publisher – but also Exchange Server, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams. They are all available in the cloud.
In this respect, current MS’s solution is no different from Office 365 – it is still a set of proven tools within one subscription, the form of using MS products, and their functions have not changed.
The appearance of a new product on the market caused a wave of questions about the differences between Office 365 and Microsoft 365. The basic change is certainly the change in tariffs – the package for private users has been divided into two parts: Personal and Family.
Users can use the Microsoft Teams messenger, also from mobile devices. Security features are also more extensive. Microsoft 365 business versions were also given additional security. However, the two versions of Microsoft’s cloud solution are essentially the same.
